Safety & Traffic Control During Road Construction

A 2-day DOLE-BWC accredited advance safety seminar that tackles on how to develop and execute Traffic Control Plan by identifying the appropriate traffic control devices, safety signages, and safety personnel needed during road construction. Most of the lecture discussion will cover DPWH’s required standard for traffic control devices, and safety signages, their installation and distance requirements using standard computation formula. Participants will also learn how to compute longitudinal and lateral buffer spaces, and how to set-up the transition and termination areas.

Course Highlights

At the end of the seminar, the participants acquire the following core competencies;

Prepare a Traffic Control Plan (TCP) for their road construction projects;

Implement and monitor effectiveness of TCP;

Develop plan of action to address potential hazards.
