Construction Project Cost Estimating, Budgeting & Control

A 2-day seminar/workshop designed to enhance the knowledge, skills and attitude of the
participants on cost management. It includes the processes (cost estimating, cost budgeting, and
cost monitoring & control) to ensure that the project is completed within the approved budget and
is primarily concerned with the cost of the resources needed to complete project activities.

Course Highlights

At the end of the seminar, the participants shall be able to:

Develop a reliable estimate of the costs of the resources needed to complete project activities

Aggregate the estimated costs of individual activities or work packages to establish a cost baseline

Monitor the status of the project to update the project costs

Control changes to the cost baseline (includes tips on how to resolve cost overruns)
